God is Not a Republican or a Democrat.

 
In times like these, when the political arena seems to polarize every American into one of two camps, we are committed to pitching our tent with Jesus. Consequently, we are wanting a biblical worldview to inform everything we think, say, and do. Even our politics.

We don't know that every church in the town of Davidson, or even in the Lake Norman area, pursues this same ideal, but we do know this: the kingdom of God transcends every democracy on the planet. (And no amount of votes will ever change that!)

So ... here at Good Shepherd we believe that, at election time and at all times, God calls us to seek first his kingdom and his righteousness. If that's the message you find when you read your Bible, then you'll find more than a few sojourners here.
